Quantum Academy Parent Bulletin #8 - September 21, 2026
We kicked off our first week of Enrichment Classes, and our Quarks were busy showing off their creativity, talent, and teamwork! In Mr. Ward’s Garden Design class, students decorated rocks that will be displayed in our QA Garden. In Mr. Gombert’s Sketching class, students followed a step-by-step guide to draw an animal while adding their own creative twist. We also stopped by Ms. Miramontes’s Leadership class, where students helped kick off Hispanic Heritage Month through Leadership presentations. In Ms. Carpenter’s Water Bottle Rockets class, students put their rockets to the test!
A big thank you to our PTA for supporting our teachers and helping make these enrichment opportunities possible for our Quarks!

Families may bring food for their child
After eating, families are invited to join students on the playground if they would like.
Students will remain at school until the end of the school day

We had a fantastic week officially launching House Week! Students kicked off the week learning about house expectations, participation, etc. On Day 2, they put their knowledge to the test, working in teams to answer quiz questions about what they learned. By Day 3, the collaborative energy was high as groups began brainstorming creative designs for their House mascots. Students are now ready to bring those ideas to life as they start building, and we cannot wait to see what different groups create!
