This week, we celebrated Administrative Professionals Day by recognizing the incredible dedication and hard work of our front office team. We are so grateful for all they do each day to support our students, staff, and families. In appreciation, students created thoughtful posters to show their gratitude, and our team enjoyed a special lunch in their honor. Thank you for everything you do to keep our school running smoothly!

We kicked off our first week back from Spring Break with an assembly that motivated students to finish the final weeks strong. The assembly also included a meaningful refresher on what it means to be an upstander, encouraging students to support and stand up for one another. We wrapped up the assembly with a fun and engaging “Minute to Win It” game that brought lots of excitement!

As we head into Spring Break, take a moment to check out what our students accomplished on their final day of Enrichment! Ms. Miramontes’s class was hard at work putting the finishing touches on decorations for the upcoming Glow Dance, showing off their creativity and teamwork. Mr. Ward’s Sportsmanship through Baseball class gave students the chance to build skills on the field while learning the importance of teamwork and positive competition. Meanwhile, Ms. Hudgins’s KNEX Engineering class challenged students to think like engineers as they designed and constructed imaginative structures and built collaboration skills.

Spring break is just around the corner, and our students are hard at work putting the finishing touches on their Enrichment projects! Mr. Hanel’s Embroidery group has been stitching together some amazing creations, while Ms. Elliott’s Basic Crochet class has been busy mastering new skills and patterns. Meanwhile, Ms. Carpenter’s Spintronics Enrichment class has been exploring hands-on learning in a whole new way!

We have successfully completed our 8th round of Enrichment classes!

We stopped by Ms. Moon’s class, where students have been practicing the art of puppetry and bringing their creativity to life through performance. In Mr. Gombert’s Enrichment class, students proudly presented their dream boards, showcasing their goals, inspirations, and aspirations. Lastly, we visited Ms. Miramontes’s class, where students are exploring design through the intricate craft of woodburning.

Last week, all houses competed in an exciting catapult competition! The challenge began with teams designing their own catapults, thinking through the best ways to launch! Next, they brought their plans to life by creating and building their catapults. The week ended in a thrilling catapult launch competition between all houses, where teams put their creations to the test. After points were tallied from the entire week’s worth of house activities, the Cosmos Crusaders took the win for this trimester!
