At our last school assembly, we had the privilege of recognizing our school social worker, Mr. Flores, with the Above and Beyond Award. Mr. Flores consistently demonstrates compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to supporting our students, families, and staff. His positive impact on our school community is felt every day, and we are incredibly grateful for all that he does.

In addition, we were thrilled to recognize A. Alvarez, one of our outstanding 8th-grade students, for winning the 60th Annual California Student Movie Festival. This remarkable achievement reflects her talent, dedication, and commitment to excellence in the arts. We congratulate A. Alvarez on this prestigious honor and are proud to celebrate this accomplishment with our entire school community.

We also celebrated the many students who earned a Trimester 3 Award for exemplifying our four core values: Scholarly, Perseverance, Create, and Lead with Empathy. These students have worked hard throughout the trimester and have shown what it means to be responsible, resilient, innovative, and caring members of our school community. We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing them continue to shine!

A huge thank you to our amazing PTA for hosting such a fun and successful event. The talent show was a full house, filled with energy, excitement, and so much school spirit! From singing and dancing to creative performances, our students truly amazed us with their confidence and talent on stage. Thank you to all the families, volunteers, and supporters who came out to cheer on our students and help make the evening so special!

Important Guidelines:
Arrive at 11:10 am to sign in
Families may bring food for their child
Families must remain at the lunch tables
Students will remain at school until the end of the school day

We are currently in our last Genius Hour of the year, where students have the opportunity to research an interest or hobby they are passionate about! We visited Mr. Ward’s 4th grade class, where students are beginning the first steps of research by gathering materials and developing questions. In Mr. Benson’s 5th grade class and Mr. Gombert’s 8th grade class, students are moving into the creation phase of their projects, from designing mini cities to building skateboard parks and more!
