Happy Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon! At Create with the Principal, we made paper rings to be the body of the dragon and one of our talented 8th graders made the head to display in our front office. Wishing you luck, love, and health! Gong xi fa cai!

We are happy to launch Kindness week and our Season for Non-violence at Quantum where we get to showcase our value of leading with empathy. This week has spirit days and lunchtime activities! Spirit Days: Monday - Team Kindness Sports Gear Tuesday - Hats off to Kindness - Hat Day Wednesday - Show love for Kindness - Wear Red Thursday - Workout Problems - Wear Workout Gear Lunchtime Activities: Monday - Write a kind letter to an adult you care about (staff or family member) Tuesday - Make a new friend at Lunch Bunch Wednesday - Kindness Grams - write kind words about another Quark to be delivered the next day Thursday - Complete and turn in your Great Kindness Challenge Bingo Checklist for a Quark Leader Card! Here’s to Kindness and the ripple effect being kind can have on an entire community!

On our first day back from break 6th grade students are studying ancient Egypt and making papyrus! They will then write their names in hieroglyphics and cuneiform. #chooseQuantum

Next level gingerbread houses! Students integrated days of math, measurement, and planning as architects then today constructed as engineers. Happy Holidays!

Congratulations to 6th grader Edmundo for winning the FIFA championship at the @EUSD esports tournament!
