8th Grade End of the Year Information.
As we approach the end of the school year, we are excited to celebrate our 8th grade students! Please review the important expectations and upcoming events below.
Requirements: To participate in end-of-year activities and promotion, students must:
Earn a minimum 2.0 GPA for Trimester 3.
Not be excluded due to discipline, as determined by administration.
Upcoming 8th Grade Events.
Harbor Cruise - May 28th from 4:30-9:00 pm
$70- per ticket (purchase in the office; cash only.
Students will be bussed to and from the event.
Dinner provided.
Signed permission slip and contract.
8th Grade Field Day - June 9th.
Fun with inflatables on the front lawn.
Lunch included.
Promotion Ceremony - June 10th from 9:00 a.m.-10:30.
On the football field.
Important Reminder:
Participation in end-of-year activities is a privilege. We encourage all students to stay focused, make positive choices, and finish strong!
Here are some important dates for next week.
Wednesday, April 1, is Minimum Student Day. School Dismissal is at 11:48 am.
Spring Break begins Thursday, April 2, through Monday, April 13, 2026.
School resumes on Tuesday, April 14th.
School starts at 8:00 A.M.
Gates open at 7:40 A.M.

Panther Families. Our second Family Day at Lunch is this Wednesday, January 28, 2026. After enjoying lunch with your student, you are invited to ROOM 30 for an opioid awareness and overdose recognition presentation led by our community partners, North Inland Substance Use Prevention (NISUP) TURN. Naloxone training will be offered, and all participants will receive a Naloxone kit.
